Mr Steven Frank recently honoured Wood Green School with his annual visit to talk about his expereince of and survival of the holocaust.
He spoke to all year 9 students and a selection of staff, it was a moving talk as he explained what life was like as a Jew in occupied Amsterdam, and his subsequent removal to the concentration camps.
If you would like to learn more then you can visit the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and read his story.
Following his talk he was presented with a thank you gift by our student governors.
He dedicated his talk to all those children in the camp with him who didn't survive.
