On Friday 23rd May Junior Choir travelled to Soest in Holland. We went on the Eurotunnel and drove through France and Belgium. On our way we stopped at a Belgian Chocolate Factory and then again at a service station for lunch. Our hostel was large and it was nice, sunny weather as well.
On Saturday , we drove to a church for a rehearsal and then performed at an old people’s home. They enjoyed the performance and kindly gave us a pair of tiny clogs on a key ring as a memory of Holland. We had lunch at the Hostel then drove to a swimming pool. Everyone had fun and the life guards were very relaxed compared to the UK! To finish the day, we went bowling and had dinner while we were there. Some people were very good while others…not quite as good!
