Summer reading

Summer is a great time to get stuck in to a book and we are keen that all our students should challenge themselves this summer to read as much as they can. The summer reading challenge is to see how many books they can read; forms are available from the English department and in the library or they can be downloaded at www.readeverydaychallenge.co.uk. All students need to do is read then fill in the sheet. English teachers will give merits in September for the books read and will be delighted to give LOTS of merits for those who read really challenging books.

The school library is still open for another week and Witney library has a good stock of young adult fiction, too. If you need ideas, try these great websites. Happy reading, everyone! Mrs Enright
