Join us in fashion heaven for the 2015 Oxjam Witney Fashion Takeover held in the stunning surroundings of St Mary’s Church, Church Green.
Spend Saturday night in style, sip a glass of bubbly and enjoy gorgeous garments and heavenly creatures parading the catwalk for Witney’s first ever Oxjam Fashion Show fundraiser.
In homage to Oxfam’s global vision, the theme of the evening is ‘diversity’, so Witney starlets of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes have volunteered to grace the runway modeling a vibrant range of styled and inspired designs supplied by local businesses to celebrate Every Body.
From vintage fashion to refashion, find bags of inspiration for updating your wardrobe the DIY way with up-cycled street wear or preloved favourites.
We couldn’t host a fashion show in a church without walking down the aisle, see a stunning range of bridal gowns and you can have the chance to buy your dream dress! High street brand Coast, based locally in Stanton Harcourt, are donating over 30 bridal wear and special occasion dresses for sale on the night, priced £35 to £75, up to half the price on some of the dresses. So bring cash to bag something special!
As if that’s not enough, win some fantastic prizes in the Oxjam raffle and make a bid for fashion icon Kate Moss’ Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld handbag donated personally by the supermodel herself!

Oxjam Witney Takeover is a volunteer organised series of events raising funds and awareness for Oxfam, which culminates in a day and evening multi venue music event across Witney on 17th October 2015.
Oxjam, debuting for the first time in Witney, is a national fundraising initiative in its ninth year raising funds and awareness for Oxfam the international development and humanitarian relief charity operating in over 90 countries worldwide.
A key current priority for Oxfam is responding to the refugee crisis. Oxfam is operational in the Middle East and closer to home in Europe responding to the refugee crisis arising from the conflict in Syria. In Syria, Jordan and Lebanon, Oxfam is providing life-saving clean water, sanitation and vital support for families who have lost everything. Oxfam is helping those arriving in Italy by providing food, clothes, shoes, and personal hygiene kits as well as longer term support. Here, Oxfam is supporting asylum seekers, not just from Syria but other regions of conflict and instability.
