Witney Refugee Action Group

Message from Susie Ashworth from Witney Refugee Action Group. All donations can be brought to the School Office before Friday 27th May 2016.

We are delighted to be supporting One Nation in sending a large container of food over to Syria at the end of this month. They are driving across Europe with the containers of dried foods and baby products, to raise awareness of the plight of Syrians.  We are approaching all local schools to ask for their involvement in showing these poor people that we the people of West Oxfordshire care and want to help them.

If you would be able to help by having a collection at your school before our deadline of 27th May 2016, it would be absolutely amazing, and I truly believe the children will get a lot out of helping those in such a desperate situation. We have storage which has been kindly donated by Big Yellow Storage in Oxford and we would come on site on the drop off day and take all donations straight to the storage site.

Every contribution, however small, will mean the world to somebody.

We have a huge container to fill by 27th May, but we have every faith in the beautiful people of this area in helping us fill it and many other local businesses are helping with this.

Please help us to send as much emergency aid as possible!
