Wood Green School launches Virtual Art Gallery

Wood Green School has launched a Virtual Gallery to showcase the work of talented students and local artists. Anyone with internet access can explore the exhibition with the click of a mouse, scanning through 360 degree panoramic views of the exhibits. It is also possible to zoom in on individual art pieces, for a close up view from the comfort of an armchair.

Witney Education Foundation provided the funding for the project, which Headteacher Robert Shadbolt hopes will expose more people, wherever they live, to access and explore the art work produced by the school's students.

Robert comments: "When I arrived at Wood Green School last year I was impressed by the quality and originality of work coming out of the Art Department. I am delighted that, thanks to the Witney Education Foundation,  we can now share our artwork with a wider audience in this original way. We look forward to working with our partner schools and local artists to create an online archive of art" .
