Yr 9s win WOLP WW1 Commemoration Trophy

On Wednesday 26th November, 4 Year 9 students competed in the inaugural WOLP Commemoration of the First World War. The task was to make a presentation on one aspect of the first year of the war. Wood Green School's aspect was the Pals Battalions.  The students researched and wrote a presentation. On Wednesday at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock, they presented to other West Oxfordshire schools: Bartholomew, Burford, Henry Box and Marlborough.

Judges from the museum awarded the trophy for the best presentation (taking into account research, presentation style, use of pictures among other criteria) to Wood Green School.

They were a fantastic team!
