All students belong to a tutor group throughout their time at Wood Green School.
The tutor is a key person for each student. A child's tutor acts as the link between school and home and student and teacher in ensuring that everything is going well for all students. Parents should use their child's tutor as the first contact is all situations
Each tutor group is part of a year group led by a Head of Year. As well as daily activities, tutor groups will help create the overall ethos of the year group in arranging assemblies, taking part in the weekly quiz and winning house points for good effort and work.
Each year has a particular focus which aims at helping the students to work collaboratively. For example, students in Year 8 are challenged to broaden their horizons by engaging in the various activities of the National Baccalaureate Project.
