Year 6 Transition 2022

Moving to a new school can be a challenge for any student. At Wood Green School, we would like you to feel ready and confident that you can make this step and be excited about what the future holds for you here. All of you will be arriving from smaller Primary schools and coming to “big” school may seem quite worrying.

Our Lead for Transition, Mr Roberts has been visiting each of the Primary schools over the last few months to talk to you and your teachers as part of the ‘moving up process’. Your parents have also been involved in this and have completed the Information pack that was sent out to them in April.

Monday 4th July – Wednesday 6th July New Intake Days. New Year 7 students visit school for three days. They meet other children in their tutor groups, sample lessons, tour the school and begin to become familiar with their new school environment.
