We were delighted in March 2025 to receive final approval for our new Science and Art building. Work will begin in April 2025, for completion by September 2026. This is an exciting new chapter in Wood Green School's development. In partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, we will expand our facilities with this brand-new £4 million building at the front of our school, which marks a significant investment into our students’ learning environment and the future of our community. Plans for the new building can be accessed via the links on this page.
We know that many will be interested in following the progress of the build, and hearing more about the planning to mitigate the disruption such a big project causes. We will communicate via a dedicated newsletter ‘New Build News’, which are all linked below and regular updates will feature on this page as well as posts on our social media channels.
We are confident that this development will offer substantial benefits for our students, staff, and wider community, strengthening our collective commitment to educational excellence.
Please note we aim to keep this page as up to date as possible, while being aware that things please do check here for the latest information.
