Head Students and Student Governors

Head Students

Our Head Students are selected by students and staff to represent the school. They run the Student Governors group and lead projects to make our school a better place.

Our Head Students this year are:

Emmeline Armes, Bethany Jones, Oliver Le Feuvre, Isaac Slater

This year the Head Students’ chosen projects are:

• Work with staff to lead the transformation of our House System
• Highlight good mental health

Student Governors

Our Student Governors is a panel of students elected by their peers to ensure that student voice in part of developing our school. Each year two representatives from each year group are chosen to sit on the Student Governing Body. The group is led by our Head Students.

Our student governors:

• Give feedback to the leadership team on developments that are being made
• Suggest new areas for development and improvement based on student feedback
• Oversee the work of other student groups across the school.

In the past student governors have contributed to the development of our Wood Green Baccalaureate, helped to prioritise site improvements and introduced a summer uniform.

Student Governors are elected in October for the year ahead.
