This week saw all of Year 12 WGS students take part in the (EPQ) Extended Project Qualification Showcase. The EPQ allows students to lead their own projects. Students get to plan and carry out research on a topic of interest to them.
The EPQ is a year long qualification teaching students how to become more critical, reflective and independent learners, to develop and apply decision-making and problem-solving skills.
They set up displays and delivered presentations showcasing a wide range of topics from nuclear fusion to the effects of invasive species, from the successes & failures of the justice system to the use of AI in cancer treatments.
From innovative research to eloquent delivery, it was wonderful to see students' diverse topics and insight into their research. Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding achievements.
