Wood Green students had the pleasure of hosting the inspiring and interesting author Musa Okwonga this week
He wrote a wonderful children's book (Striking Out) in conjunction with the footballer Ian Wright which, in addition to being a captivating read for young people, addresses important issues.
He talked about his life and work and the issues of racism, bullying, domestic abuse and the importance of speaking up.
Students got the chance to hear him speak and have their questions answered.
It was a privilege to have his company for the day and we look forward to the sequel and TV show!
